Benefits of Ayat-ul-Kursi:

1. Protection from Evil and Harm:

• It is narrated that reciting Ayat-ul-Kursi acts as a protection against evil forces, including jinn and shayateen (devils).
• The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said that whoever recites it at night will be protected by Allah, and no harm will come to them until morning (Sahih Bukhari).

Abu Dhar (RA) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“O Abu Dhar, shall I teach you something by which Allah will protect you from all harm?”

I said, “Yes, O Messenger of Allah.”

He (ﷺ) said, “Recite Ayat-ul-Kursi at the beginning of the day, and you will be protected until night. And if you recite it at night, you will be protected until morning.”

2. Strengthening of Faith and Tawakkul (Reliance on Allah):

• The verse reminds believers of Allah’s absolute power, heartening them to place their trust in Him in all matters.
• It emphasizes the belief that nothing happens without Allah’s will and that He is the final guardian.

                 Ubayy ibn Ka‘b (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) asked,
                “O Abu Mundhir, do you know which verse in Allah’s Book is the greatest?”
                  I replied, “Allah and His Messenger know best.”
             The Prophet (ﷺ) then repeated the question, so I answered, “Ayat-ul-Kursi.”
             He (ﷺ) struck my chest and said, “Congratulations on your knowledge, O Abu Mundhir!”

3.Increased Rewards and Blessings:

• Reciting Ayat-ul-Kursi after each mandatory prayer (Salah) ensures that a person remains in Allah’s shield and brings countless blessings.
• The Prophet (ﷺ) mentioned that whoever recites this verse later every prayer, nothing stops them from entering Jannah except death (An-Nasa’i).
• “Whoever recites the first four verses of Surat Al-Baqarah, then Ayatul Kursi, then the last three verses of Surat Al-Baqarah, no kind of difficulty will befall him with his money or himself, for Satan will not come close to him and he will not forget the Qur’an.”

4. Protection of Home and Property:

• Reciting Ayat-ul-Kursi upon entering the house brings sanctifications and prevents shayateen from entering the home.

               Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (RA) said:
                  “When you enter your home, recite Ayat-ul-Kursi, and Shaytan will not enter your        house until morning.”

6. Relief from Anxiety and Worries:

• It serves as a cause of peace and comfort, reducing stress, anxiety, and fear.
• The verse reminds supporters that Allah is in control, providing encouragement in difficult times.

7.Helps in the Acceptance of Duas

• Reciting Ayat-ul-Kursi increases the chances of one’s supplications (duas) being accepted.
• It is said that its recitation attractions one closer to Allah and brings divine mercy.

8. Spiritual and Physical Healing

• Many scholars have faith  that the recitation of Ayat-ul-Kursi supports in spiritual healing, such as protection from the evil eye and negative energies.
• It is also used in Ruqyah (Islamic healing) for various diseases.
